 Phillip E. Johnson is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried numerous cases in state and federal court, including cases with multi-million dollar exposure. He concentrates in aviation litigation, employment law and litigation, business
litigation, legal ethics & legal malpractice, and estate planning. He represents clients both inside and outside Maine. He is a frequent speaker at legal seminars on employment law, aviation litigation and legal ethics. He is a member of Maine's Professional Ethics Commission, and regularly authors a column on legal ethics for the Maine Lawyers Review. He also serves on the continuing Legal Education Committee of the Maine State Bar Association and is Chair of the Ethics Subcommittee. He is frequently retained as an ethics expert witness in legal malpractice and legal discipline cases. He graduated from Miami University (Ohio) in 1972, and from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1975, where he was an editor of the Law Review. Upon graduation, he trained as a trial lawyer with a major law firm headquartered in Cleveland.  David G. Webbert specializes in employment, civil rights and
business litigation as well as federal and state appeals. He has tried many of the first cases in Maine under the Americans With Disabilities Act and other civil rights and employment laws. He has had major successes as a trial lawyer, having achieved several of the highest verdicts in Maine in employment and civil rights cases. He serves as President of the Maine Employment Lawyers Association and is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association. He was recently awarded the Justice Louis Skolnik Award by the Maine Civil Liberties Union. He graduated magna cum laude from both Yale College in 1982, and Harvard Law School in 1985 where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Prior to joining Johnson & Webbert, L.L.P., he clerked for Judge Kenneth W. Mathew S. Keegan specializes in employment, civil rights and
general civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he served
as a law clerk to The Honorable Robert Clifford, a senior Justice of
the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. He graduated from Duke
University in 1989, Harvard Graduate School of Education in 1994, and
the University of Maine School of Law magna cum laude in 1999.
